Jesus Christ, Logos, Essence of Reality

Jesus Christ is The LOGOS, the core, essence and paradigm of reality, the expression of the truth about the structure of all existence. Imagine, the essence of creation and reality is summed up in a person, the God-Man. Consider how the Apostle Paul described him:

Col 1:15-16 And He is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether earthly kingdoms and rulers or different kinds of angels-- all things have been created by Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

The more we know Him, the closer we get to seeing the actual purpose of life & the structure of the universe. Western civilization is based on pursuing an understanding of reality as God designed it, both scientifically and spiritually.

One of the core tenants of non biblical religion and leftist politics is the belief that there is no such thing as reality, it is all made up in your head. Reality is fluid, ever changing based on those viewing it and therefore creating it. Based on this idea, gender is fluid, changing at a whim, fairness is fluid based on equality of results not opportunity, economics is no longer a science but a means of bringing "fairness" to the masses.

When Christ came, He revealed God's person and set His followers on a search for truth to find freedom. A phrase I recently heard is "pursue the logos" meaning to pursue the truth the essence of reality, God's style. His way is the real way, the reality that moors us to common sense about life issues. Accepting God's reality based on the bible leads us to an understanding that reality belongs to Him and that He wants to share His view of it with us.
