God's Promises will Prevail

Apparently our governmental leaders have lost their minds and all the sheep are shocked by fear, frozen in place lest they catch the China virus. God will use our sin of fear to expose our foolishness & worldliness. Then He will show us that His promises are the only way we survive anyway. Many are about to experience the faithfulness of God as there will be no other source from which they can draw their living. Witness the promise of Jesus and view it as your own.

Matthew 6:25-29 "For this reason I say to you, do not be anxious for your life, as to what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor for your body, as to what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body than clothing? 26 "Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? 27 "And which of you by being anxious can add a single cubit to his life's span? 28 "And why are you anxious about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, 29 yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory did not clothe himself like one of these.

Is this promise real or was Jesus offering His version of the Hallmark channel feel good illusion? Most of us have never been in a position where we had to know if this promise is for real, we have depended on our jobs. We thank God for our jobs but we depend on them, not God. What will we do when there are no jobs, no more help from government & we reach the end of our supplies? Some will panic, others will freeze but those who have been growing in the Lord (not just going to church) will attach their faith to His promises and wait for Him to fulfill them. We bring glory to Him by counting His word as true, believing that His word is the expression of His character.

Psalm 18:2 The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
